They do exactly what they're supposed to do - help soften my clothes. I've been using them for a few months and the felt that makes up their "sheep" part is coming off and almost all of them have lost their ears. I would say if you are looking for dryer balls just buy regular price dryer balls. Of course it was fun to make little sheep jump around, but now they aren't real sheep anymore and when the felt came off it stuck to the clothes. It's not a crisis, you can crank it out, but it doesn't seem necessary.
