I got this because we have iron/scale issues when it comes to our hot water. We've been using this for a few weeks now and I think it's fixed. My wife dyes her hair and it is important to her that she has clean water and seems to be doing her job. I can't tell if the chlorine is removed or not because we don't have it in our well water. Now we feel very lush, and we don't have that almost dry sticky hard water feel, nor do we have that super slippery feel. we got from water softeners. This is a great middle ground and the water looks, smells and feels like good old spring water. For the price you won't find anything quite like it and you doubt you'll find anything better. great product and the owners are great people. They offer a lot of help when needed and customer service is a top priority. +++ from me!
