The only upside to this frame is that it's pretty. It took 4 hours to assemble with two people, the holes the screws go into were out of line and had to be fixed (which, you can imagine was a pain in the butt knowing what this frame is made out of), the instructions had no words at all only diagrams, the tool they give you to tighten the screws was small, cheap, and inconvenient. Halfway through, the 2 tools that came with it were unusable and we had to find replacements. The feet in the middle that hold the bed up were uneven and were a nightmare to try to even out (never made it 100% flat on all six feet that hold the bed up so it wobbles a bit). For the majority of the assembly, you can't see the screws or where they're going into the other parts to connect the frame and have to feel around blindly. The screws should have been replaced with bolts in places. The bed frame, once assembled, is longer than a twin xl mattress by about 6 inches or so, making it look a bit funky with that extra space at the bottom between the footboard and the mattress. And yes, it says it can hold up to 300 lbs, and I hope that's true, but I wouldn't push your luck. It says you don't need a box frame with this, but I would highly recommend you get one, but even so, you'll still probably be too close to the ground for comfort. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this frame. It's pretty but not worth the hassle.
