I had to move my router and move to a new location and hooking it up made my life so much easier, I just made a CAT6 extension cable and ran the cable through the false ceiling in the basement. Connection to a CAT6 cable is very secure on either side of the connector and there was no drop in speed on any of the 6 devices using the connectors. I am very satisfied, I will recommend.
