Review on 🚘 Enhanced Safety: MAXXHAUL 70429 Trailer Hitch Cover with 12 LEDs Brake Light by Jermall Meredith

The one I got had 3 wires and apparently it's smart enough to only work when you step on the brake. I don't have the two wire or turn signal issue mentioned in other reviews. However, this light is for old school cars, not new ones with bulb controls. On my car with this connector it would be fine as long as I don't use the turn signal. When I do this, I immediately get a "Trailer Turn Signal Failure" warning on the dash, which doesn't go off until I unplug the hitch light and plug it back in. I hope the manufacturer will come out with a newer model that will work with this "lamp controller". Systems in newer cars (my Jeep and Mustang have these and are both a few years old). In my case I have an older car that it works with so I'm keeping it. It just doesn't match the car I originally bought it for. Otherwise it works great. All LEDs light up, are easy to install and attract the attention of other drivers even in daylight.
