I've tried so hard to reduce single-use plastic: I've given up toothpaste tubes, shampoo bottles, disposable razors, and so on. I've tried "natural" deodorants don't work as well and they still come in a plastic dispenser. I was thrilled to hear that Dove makes reusable deodorants as I have been using Dove deodorants for about 30 years. Then I was disappointed after reading the reviews with so many people complaining that the stick broke the dispenser after a few uses. I decided to give it a try anyway and I'm glad I did! I just have to ask: how hard do you rub deodorant into your armpits? For me I just do a few gentle strokes and haven't had any issues with the wand breaking. The scent is great and lasts all day. It's good to remember that this is *not* an antiperspirant, it's a deodorant.
