Hey everyone! I have read several reviews of this cable not working with NES, SNES, SEGA and other old VIRTUAL CONSOLE games. This works, but to do this you need to go to Wii Options > Wii Settings > Display > TV Resolution and set it to EDTV or HDTV (480P). This will make all those old games work. I hope it helps. As for the cable itself, it's a good cable, seems well made and the price is right. I even paid a few bucks more because I like a cable that looks like the real thing. There were cheaper options that were different and didn't fit my system. Still under $10 when I bought it here in early 2017.
