Review on eufy Smart Scale C1: Bluetooth Body Fat Scale for Accurate Fitness Analysis - Black/White, lbs/kg by Barbara Gonzalez

So I have several smart scales at home that measure weight, calculate BMI, and measure body fat (and other indicators) using foot electrodes. The Eufy device is my last purchase because my finances wanted her to have it. A house. I ended up loving their scale so much that I bought a second unit for my home, where it sits alongside my much more expensive Withings/Nokkia Body Cardio scale. The Eufy scale is smaller than many other scales. So if you are a tall person, you should look elsewhere. The scale also uses 3 AAA batteries that need to be replaced. Some of my other scales come with built-in rechargeable batteries (a more elegant touch). My Bio Cardio scale is also much bigger and stronger than my Body+ scale. The Eufy scale appears to be accurate, matching my other three scales to within 2/10 of a pound. Eufy scales ONLY display weight on the scale itself. You must open an application that is easy to use and read to get other measurements. Other measurements on the Eufy scale include: BMI, % body fat, % water, % muscle mass, % bone mass, BMR (and your metabolic rate). / calories burned per day), % visceral fat (belly/organ fat), lean body mass in pounds, body fat in pounds, bone mass in pounds, and muscle mass in pounds. All of them are also rated as low, normal, and high. The BMR and visceral fat measurements are new to me as I don't use them on my other scales. And I find measuring visceral fat fascinating because it relates to heart health. This feature alone is worth a very reasonable price in my opinion. The downside, aside from the small form factor and the need to open the app to get measurements other than weight, is the supposed body fat measurement. As other reviewers have pointed out, the Eufy scale returns body fat readings that are about 2-4% higher than any other scale I have. It's frustrating as everything else at this scale is so great. But as long as you can live with an estimated body fat number, which may be a few percentage points inflated, this is a great scale.
