My son had trouble getting his feet into the shoes even after loosening the laces. The width added a snug fit, allowing him to slip the sneakers on and off with ease. They are more burgundy than red. Great shoes with good grip. We didn't use laces and the shoes still fit perfectly with any heel slip.

- Got them for my son and they are true to size.
- The sock comes off after a month, which is ridiculous for children's shoes.
