I'm not giving 4 stars because the performance is above average, I'm giving it 4 stars because it's average at a great price. Basically you get what you pay for and this product is no exception to the rule. After reading many reviews about electric shavers and beard trimmers, I am confused. Since this is my first device of this kind, I decided to go on the cheap side to better understand the reviews of more expensive devices. The price was right. Considering all the extra features bundled with the product, this is good value. Of course, at this price you can't expect the performance of a specialty device to be 5 times higher than its price! He does everything he promises but does NOTHING with excellence. Works well. Shaving - not so much. Leaves me with bumps. Good job for a quick clean before dinner, but not a close shave for a morning haircut that will last most of the day at the office. It seems to pull a lot, which doesn't bother me since I only shave with bar soap. However, I think some would find it annoying. Beard Trim – It does its job well but doesn't follow the contour of the face very well. It was difficult for me to evenly trim around the mouth, nose and jaw. I've tried different attachments but never found one for my face. Even across my cheeks it seemed to cut unevenly. Maybe that's because of my inexperience. Battery Life - Approx He does a superiority! Surprisingly long battery life. The display provides sufficient information about the status. If it fails in the middle of use it's definitely your fault as it's probably been low for the last few uses. I've seen some expensive models bragging about fast charging. I think this is important when the battery life is very short. This product does not have this problem. It doesn't load fast, but I don't think it should break any speed records. Cleaning - I don't think it differs from similar devices. Comes with a small cleaning brush and oil. I found it easy to clean. I think this product would be better suited for trimming hair on the top of the head or shaving the armpits where broad strokes are more common. Again, it does an average job in all areas of clipping/trimming, but for the price, I'm not complaining. When I finally buy a good Braun or Phillips, I'll know what to look for! It is a good product for a "closed" or urban look, but it cannot provide a "look your best" look for business meetings with clients. It's about what you expect at this price point.
