Works great if you fit the end grips to it

If they are too short for your handlebars and you have old grips that you remove and fit properly, here's what you can do: just cut off the ends of the old grips. handles and leave enough room to continue cutting and trimming until they are level with where the new Scott handles are installed. I used a knife to cut all the way through the end cap of Scott's buttons so I could do it. Much nicer when the grips extend fully and cover the ends of the steering wheel. Otherwise they don't look very nice with the spare steering wheel and the hole in the steering wheel visible. Gorilla Glue works really well on old grip caps and sticks them where the Scott grip ends. I used Gorilla Gel to glue the new Scott grips. above the steering wheel. Tired of the permanent adhesive being pulled through the inside of the side throttle grips. It can stretch and flow from the end of the direction the new grip is advancing. You don't want the glue to go where the throttle should move and have free play. + also put on very quickly. You'll know they hold up well because it's a pain ___ to slide and get these grips in the right position on your handlebars. However, this is good! They must not fall apart! If they ever do I'll try to update it here and also tell you how long it took. I've been riding them for a few weeks now and I think the grips feel great. In my experience there is no harsh vibration with these thinner grip pads. In general, the driving experience has changed for the better. Feeling of more control and more confident reaction of the bike. (Who would have thought!? I replaced the 1980's OEM grips!) Definitely a good deal at an affordable price if you want to adapt the solution to the fact that they don't fully cover all types of handlebar lengths. I will replace this brand again in the future if I need to replace them unless there are longer grips available from the same company.
