I ordered several versions of the lap belts to try and this one was definitely the best! I have a Samsung Note10+ in a medium-sized case with a stand. The phone fits easily in the main pocket. It also fits, albeit a little tightly, in an inside pocket (a pocket that allows access to the see-through front panel). BTW, this bag would easily fit without my phone case. Since my phone doesn't have a headphone jack, I have to use an adapter. What makes this band great is that the cable jack is big enough for us with a headphone adapter. The band is very light and I can easily use my phone through the transparent front glass. I don't sweat much so I can't say for sure how waterproof it is, but since the phone is two layers from my body I'd be surprised if I thought sweat could seep in. The fabric also feels like it's waterproof.
