.in CAVE with CRAFTS box. That screen honestly looked pretty awful. I mean, I plugged it in and it worked, but the color reproduction and image clarity were so much worse than the original equipment it replaced that I was wondering if I ordered the right product. The text displayed on this screen remained blurry and difficult to read at various resolutions, and changing the Windows Cleartype settings did nothing to make it clearer. I had it next to an external monitor (HP 2010i HD Ready 20 inch LCD Monitor - Black) on the same computer and the difference was day and night. Needless to say, I boxed this screen as soon as it came. Also, this is not the first replacement screen I have purchased for this laptop - the last replacement screen I received from Laptopscreens.com had OEM quality display performance. but with some kind of power consumption issue that caused it to stop working intermittently and messing around with charging the laptop battery (I know the screen was the problem because the old cracked screen it replaced never had this problem , when it was reconnected) and I didn't discover the error until after the return period had expired. So I bought this screen to review after looking for an alternative supplier on Laptopscreens.com. Imagine my surprise when I printed the return label at ScreenS and saw that the item was actually returned to the Seattle warehouse .laptopscreens.com. Apparently there is no way out. One star for the screen itself, two stars for a quick and hassle-free return (pre-return).
