The container it came in was completely scratched and looked more than a little worn. Luckily I only bought them for myself so I threw away the tin and put the markers in my pencil case. If you are planning on giving them away, be aware that you will either have to repackage them or otherwise have difficulty gifting something that looks like it has been used.
