Review on 📷 Black Rear Vision Camera System for Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) with Factory Display Radio - Brandmotion 9002-8838 by Sean Patel

Overall this is a good product for the price online. I saved by installing it myself (about an hour) and the dealer firmware ($120 - seemed expensive). However, two issues prevented a higher score: (1) Poorly written instructions in the box. Watching videos on Youtube was much more useful and saved time. The hardest part was figuring out the power connector on the back of the 12 volt lighter. I didn't want to splice the wires, so I bought a $39 wire harness from Quadratec. The instructions for connecting the power supply (red and green wires) to the wiring harness weren't clear. Maybe I misunderstood them but for this part I had to call and ask for a Brandmotion specialist to help me. (2) This camera has NO backup lines, which is disappointing. The comments I read said it does indeed have lines and that's a big part of the reason I bought it. After installation I found out via Brandmotion that this model 9002-8838 has no lines. Not contract breaking but disappointing. Otherwise, this product serves its purpose and costs around $330.
