Review on 💫 Samsung 27-inch Curved FreeSync Monitor with 1920x1080p Resolution and 75Hz Refresh Rate, Model LC27T550FDNXZA by Christopher Briggs

I used an old Samsung 28 inch TV on a pedestal and an old cabinet. I was struggling and wanted a larger TV to fit in the cabinet opening, but needed a pedestal type. I saw this 32 inch monitor with speakers on sale on Black Friday. Due to the curved screen, it only occupies 28 inches, so it fits perfectly and offers a larger and better viewing area. The speakers were ok but I also bought a Vizio 20 inch soundbar with wireless woofer on Black Friday and the overall setup is great. The TV speakers were fine, but my wife listens to music during the day, so the soundbar system sounded even better on the 3.5 audio out. I was able to get my 4K Firestick to adjust the volume and put the monitor to sleep. Don't think turning the monitor on and off is possible with the 4K Firestick, but there is a power button in the middle and below the monitor. I usually just put it to sleep. The soundbar will automatically turn off after this number of minutes. I stream so picture quality is excellent on HULU, Netflix, YouTube. I tinkered a bit with the manual buttons on the monitor. Where I sit is about 6 feet from me and I can surf the web comfortably with the Firestick and reading and browsing feels easier on my eyes. Typical TV is streaming TV with the soundbar turned on. Use the firestick to put the monitor to sleep when I stop, and the soundbar turns off when turned on. I have to turn the soundbar back on with the remote when I surf again, but I usually play around with the bass and treble settings anyway. The soundbar can be programmed not to turn off, but I don't see the need for it. The only thing the monitor doesn't do as it should is show the sound level bar with numbers on the screen, but hey, my ears can tell me where the level should be. I would give five stars for everything if I could program the Firestick to do everything. I am glad that I made the purchase and can only recommend the monitor. The curved screen gives the illusion of a much larger viewing area, and my wife can see the monitor better from her usual viewing position 12 feet away on the couch.
