I have a problem with charging cords getting destroyed quickly. My kids step on the end or I bend it while trying to use the phone when charging. This cord is the longest lasting one I've had so far! I bought it 5 or 6 months ago and it's still going strong despite lots of abuse. It is sturdy and well made. It's long enough to use while I'm in bed, but it doesn't get all tangled up. This is definitely worth the money! Update: my original cord finally became less efficient 8 months after I bought it. It started charging slowly today. I consider 8 months to be a very acceptable amount of time for the price I paid. My way more expensive Samsung cords never lasted that long.
