There are two types of these Igloo radiator clips: those that will fail and those that will fail. Designed to break in low light, cold or heat due to the thin and narrow passage between the two mounting screws. You should simply write "cut along the dotted line" as this is the weakest part of the latch. I've had 2 of these kits so I'm hoping to save others the money and heartache of replacement parts that don't improve the situation. I simply tie an elastic cord to the handles to hold the lid tight. I agree with those who called it "garbage".
