I bought my mother as a gift for Mother's Day, but I buy strange things for my mother. She is the director of Bridge (card game) and has a board assembling machine that allows her to host games at the club. In the past, the Type-B cable would jut right out of the vending machine, take up space on the dining room table, and put a lot of stress on the female end of the plug. Although mine unfortunately faces the wrong way (my mistake), it still offers many advantages as it sits fairly flush with the machine and has enough wire to put the female end behind and away from everyone. Needless to say it was a win. However, if you're looking to buy this, take a look at the back of the device you're connecting it to and take the time to figure out what you need. I got lucky, but I should have bought "Up" and "Down" instead. Get this type of package too. At least it's a 50-50 win. I like that this offers a right and left option.
