About time to add an unsponsored review. I tried this with an alto saxophone attached to the front of a trumpet. Really just wanted him to record my practice and maybe try an effects pedal. The audio quality was decent but it was impossible to get the volume out and I recorded straight into a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) even with the volume set to a maximum of 11. I have experience with sound recording and couldn't get decent volume. without manipulation after recording. This also exacerbates the problem of the microphone recording every keystroke with a clearly audible pop. I tried adding extra padding to the mic clamp to soften it and that helped but didn't eliminate the rattling. Set up was easy which is a plus. This can be a good option for flute or guitar, but is not recommended for saxophone.
