Review on WIX Filters - 24818 Cabin Air Panel, Single Pack by Mike Dart

This filter is poorly designed and will not fit the Volvo XC90 properly. On a genuine Volvo filter, the pleats run from left to right. has pleats running from top to bottom (the image shows the filter lying on its side). The Volvo filter also has slots in the plastic frame that allow the filter to be easily flexed without damaging it when installing or removing it from the filter housing. Since the Wix filter does not have this design, it cannot be installed without damaging the filter and its paper frame. Also, the pleats on the Wix filter aren't as deep, about 1/8 inch narrower, so it doesn't last long since it has less surface area. I believe this filter was a waste of money and I will buy a genuine Volvo filter. next time.
