I have read other reviews on this product that complained about tangled cables and poor performance. Nevertheless, I bought garlands. I bought my first garland in November. Now in April I'm buying another set for another project and I'm very happy with it. As for tangling, the wires were neatly stored in the box. The confusion arose as I lined up the garlands. It was my fault. With small, flexible wires and lots of lights, you have to be very careful or you will get confused. If the strand gets tangled, I don't blame the yarn. As far as charging and keeping the light going, I haven't seen any problems. Granted, I live in Colorado where we get a lot of sunshine. Even when it was cloudy the lights came on and stayed on all night. They are still on in the morning until sunrise. Of course, Colorado also means snow and low temperatures. Regardless, the lights still work just as well as the day I installed them. It's a great way to light up our trellis and is a lot easier than trying to run wires from around the house. The extra cable from the string of lights to the charger is long enough to easily place the solar panel where I wanted.
