You just have to work with it, you need practice. I've found that I don't like the base coat because it makes the nail too thick for my liking. So I just clean my nails with nail polish remover and let them dry... put on the sticker, then gel polish and UV lamp. It looks very nice for three to five days, then I can't take the imperfections (from growth and wear) and replace them. For the price and ease of use, it's 1000% worth it. I like to change them every week and always get compliments on my nails. I did the math, not counting my UV light or gel top coat, it's $0.25 for a set of nails.
