These are a little longer than your average hanger.They are covered in material so your clothes don’t slide off. This is great for slippery fabrics and clothes with open neck lines which tend to slide off the ends of regular hangers. The shoulder bump is illuminated in most clothing.Now the down side. These are very thin so you may have a ridge instead of a bump. This is all along the back and shoulder area. I hang clothes fresh out of the washer. When they are completely dry, I toss in the dryer for up to 10 minutes to de-wrinkle them. ( This only works because I am generous with the liquid fabric softener). The ridge remains on the clothes. It seems less noticeable than the shoulder bump. I don’t know if the ridge would show up if the clothes were hung on them already dry. I find it a little annoying trying to center clothes on the hanger because the fabric catches instead of sliding easily. This means there is added time adjusting your clothes evenly on the hanger. For that same reason, you can’t just "pull” something off the hanger, it holds on.They were pretty cheap so I will use them but may look for some thicker and without the no slide covering.
