Review on 🚿 PULSE ShowerSpas 1088-BN SeaBreeze II System - 8-Inch Rain Showerhead, Slide Bar, Multi-Function Hand Shower - Brushed Nickel Finish - 2.5 GPM by Lauren Morrison

Just installed and seems to work well and looks decent. However, some small parts were missing from my factory-sealed packaging and I had to improvise with the plastic showerhead connector to get it to seal. I'm not a professional plumber but I have several properties that I have completely renovated myself including all plumbing work. Mine didn't have enough gaskets to seal all the connections (hose ends and rain showerhead) but luckily I had a few of my own. The kit also lacked lube to seal the rubber O-rings (moving parts) which the instructions say are "included in the kit". Finally, the shower head is designed to rotate on a ball fitting sealed with a beveled plastic gasket tightened with a chrome plated plastic ring at the top of the shower head. On the first test, the head leaked and after tightening it again by hand, only the beveled plastic seal broke. I had to seal it with 100% silicone but it worked. Lastly, you will be provided with the hex keys you need, but you may also need a thin 20mm spanner to tighten the head to the original tube. The gap between the head connector and the head was too tight for a standard Craftsman 20mm open-end wrench, so I resorted to channel locks, which scratched the chrome a bit, but due to the size of the head and the height of my shower, fitted. for it cannot be seen. If the head was set to the stock height it would be noticeable so I would go to an H/W shop and look for a narrower 20mm wrench. Anyway, it ended up being good, but it could have been better with better quality control and less plastic. Addendum: When I tore open the box I found a tiny ziplock bag of lube - give it anyway. 3 stars for the plastic to price ratio.
