Orientation reversed
The positive and negative orientations are reversed from the devices I have that use utility poles. Make sure you connect red to red and black to black otherwise you may damage your device. If you want to change the orientation, it will take 3 minutes. Pry up the spade connectors with a small screwdriver, then pull the wires out. Spread the plastic connectors and turn them over. Insert each wire into the corresponding color connector until it clicks. There are tons of YouTube videos if you need help.
