Has worked great with one exception. When you change the chip, it stays at the same level as the previous toner, which means the toner will always show a low toner level no matter how much ink is left. I think this applies to all toner/ink replacement parts. It's annoying to get an alert and not be able to see 'levels', but if you can handle it it costs a lot less than an HP replacement. If you try to print without a chip, the printer will recognize the layers, it just won't let you print. By the way, if you are not sure, you have to cut/push the chip out of the original toner and put it in it, but it's not that difficult.
