Review on BILLY Footwear Classic Toddler Leather Boys' Shoes for Sneakers by Richard Lamptey

Necessity is the mother of ingenuity

My son wears leg braces and finding the right shoes was a nightmare. I've tried plus sizes, wide sizes, extra wide sizes, Velcro shoes, and a tie. I've tried many brands. Aside from the braces, my son's ankle and foot mobility is very limited. The daily struggle to put on suspenders and shoes was ridiculous. I had resigned myself to trying on ugly $150 shoes recommended by a braces specialist until my son's PDN nurse mentioned those shoes. They are amazing! Now I can quickly put his shoes on, nothing more! The soles are not attached to the shoe, so they can be removed to make room for braces, or easily swapped out to wear shoes without braces. Although there is a limited number of styles, I love the variety of colors to choose from. And they won't make my son look any different as he already loves some of the specialized shoes. They're about as expensive as any brand name shoes I've tried and a lot cheaper than specialty shoes. And the story of the shoemaker is touching.
