Expensive but worth it
For the last 5 months I have shipped a delicate tech demonstrator across North America with this case in checked baggage, FedEx plane and FedEx ground. I saw him fall off the baggage carousel at the cargo door of an airplane (thanks, Delta!) and slide out of a crowded hotel van. Neither my demo nor the hull itself was damaged. Foam breaks relatively easily into desired shapes the first time. Just visualize well, measure twice and cut once. You can use some hot glue to put the piece back in place if you ripped off too much. I have recommended this case to 2 colleagues and they both love it.
