Bought for a trip to Universal Studios and Disneyworld in Florida. I spent a total of 7 days in the parks, walked a lot. I have two children ages 11 and 9 and my wife and I each bought a bag hoping we could carry water, food and some supplies. Why a fanny pack and not a backpack? Because you can take fanny packs to most rides at both Universal and Disney (a few exceptions are roller coasters that go upside down and you can get lockers for them). You have done a great job. Backpacks have held up well. We didn't have any rips, loose threads etc. I wish they had a little more room but overall the size is good and it fits the body well - doesn't feel bulky. There are two zippered pockets, which is very convenient. Every day I was able to carry (emergency raincoats for two), 1-2 protein bars, a packet of Costco Trail formula, a small tube of sunscreen, lip balm, some band aids, nuts and of course a bottle of water. . Both parks have several places where you can grab a cup of ice water (Florida water tastes like sulfur, so a bottle of filtered water helps). I usually kept my phone in my pocket because I used it to watch the wait times, but there was still enough room for my Note 4 (similar to the size of the iPhone 6 plus) if needed. While the primary reason for this purchase was a Florida trip, I might use this for smaller day trips in the future. If your vanity allows you to carry a bum bag in public, I'd say it's a solid, large bum bag.
