These lights are great for under cabinet lights. They donate very bright light and are very thin. I find that forward placement (toward the front edge of the countertop) provides the best lighting for your countertop. They can be linked so that when you turn this switch on/off they all turn on/off together when connected to an externally switched circuit. The only downside is that GE only supplies a short cable (18 inches) which is often too short for applications. However, you can change the length of the connector wires by connecting unnecessary sections of additional wires of the power cord that you do not need. Too bad GE doesn't just offer longer patch cords or connectors to make longer patch cords.
