Boots look great. I think they will be warm enough. I was very disappointed to find my toddler's foot didn't fit in the insole. There is enough room for her foot lengthwise, but the calf and foot are so flattened in width that we had to remove the insole to put them on. . Still pretty tight. I think they will still be warm I hope! I don't know if I can go up another size if it doesn't trip over the extra length of the shoe. This is not for babies with calves! For reference I have a 2 year old girl who is 30 pounds. I bought the eighth size even though she has a sixth size foot.
