Everything was high quality and very well packaged. But it requires wiring and assembly. Full assembly is required an hour before use. It worked properly when I first used it. Get a 25ft extension to add to your existing 12ft cord, usually included. The instructions could have been improved but the way things worked out made perfect sense. I used heavy duty industrial velcro to attach the controller to the back of the solar panel.
