If you have the right banana size and shape, it works great, although it's a bit difficult for my kids to open. I would say at least 25% of the bananas we tried just didn't fit. Bananas come in many shapes and sizes and the fact that you get 3 containers, all different colors but all the same size really feels like a missed opportunity to me. It's a pity that not each of the 3 containers differs only slightly from each other. It only takes a small difference in length and curvature between the three and you can probably fit 99% of all bananas in at least 1 of them. For the 75% of bananas that fit, they do a fantastic job. "The bananas that I packed here arrived at their culinary destination almost undamaged, despite all the knocks and bumps. This is definitely a definite improvement over the "naked" banana wrap I've always made. Oh, and for the record, everyone in my family wants yellow and nobody wants pink. Including me.
