They appear to be quality goods but the glass is translucent which makes the low wattage bulb even dimmer. I wanted to use incandescent bulbs to help police light up the windows, but they aren't bright enough and the wrong shade for the purpose. This is not the manufacturer's fault, although I don't know what these lamps could be used for. Perhaps they will come in handy as colorful ramps.
