I mainly use it as a light field computer. It is light and thin for easy storage and travel. I can use basic applications like MS Word and Excel and also access my email for work. It doesn't have the full functionality of a traditional netbook or laptop, but it charges quickly and is easy to carry. to job fairs. It also has more than enough processing power and battery life for web browsing, word processing, etc. I just tether it to my phone to access the internet. more memory than I need now. I've never used a Chromebook before, so it took me a while to get used to the format. The controls and routing nuances differ from something like a Windows PC or laptop (e.g. no delete key). Plugging in a mouse helps bypass the touchpad trick. There are also a few apps that don't work well and aren't very compatible with the format. Once I get used to it, I can maneuver very quickly. For browsing and light tasks, it works great. Something like a lightweight laptop or full netbook is better for larger tasks and programs.
