This spray gun is designed for U-POL system. The workmanship was excellent and it worked exactly as advertised. I almost bought another brand based on the reviews, but I couldn't believe this device had pipe threading issues and wasn't a quality tool. I repainted the interior of an aluminum boat where we no longer needed carpet and the end result was stunning! Great product and a must have for a great finish at a fantastic price.

The gun works well as a piping bag and works as expected. The only thing that confuses me is that the suction tube doesn't suck all the material out of the bottles. Not sure how many bits it was, there should have been 5-10 percent wastage per bottle. In addition, you do not have to dilute the material and you have enough space for the necessary hardener. (This is known) Next time I spray this substance I will use my own gun and mix it outside of the bottle.

I had no previous experience with this type of spray gun. So setting up the spray pattern wasn't easy. If a specific sample is required I would recommend a decent sample and calculate the amount of material sample required. However, consistency could be achieved by adjusting the air pressure. Bottles with Raptor inserts screw directly onto the gun for easy replacement. The gun is also easy to clean with suitable solvents. Excellent value for such a special colour/liner.

Bought 3 kits and completely painted my dad's 89ft F-150. As with painting/spraying anything of this nature, the prep work matters. It took about 2 days to prime the bare metal, acid etch and apply the tape. The next 2-3 days were spent applying multiple coats at 60psi for a finer grit. It is easy to apply, moist and dries evenly. It has held up 100% with no fading and heavy use after harvesting 15-18 loads of firewood here in Northeast Pennsylvania before the winter.

I've never air sprayed anything (with a supercharger) and have had no problem spraying fender liner on some bumpers and at the custom shop (like the U-Paul Raptor). trunk.
