Ideal for incandescent lamps
I had a burned out lightbulb in a lantern right above my computer. I replaced it with a lightbulb that I had lying around at home. It worked for a while but it must have been the wrong bulb because it wouldn't dim. The light has a dimmer switch. I googled what kind of lightbulb I need and came across this one. It's bright enough and dims just right.
