Easy to use, reads and can reset codes
My check engine light came on and I got this code reader to diagnose. This device had the best reviews I could find so I bought it. The manual explained how to use it and how the whole code system works and how it is standardized in the automotive industry. It was good training. The tool was easy to use. I connected to the car, he read the code and gave me a description. Since it looked minor (fuel vapor leak, probably a loose gas cap) I reset the code. He didn't come back. So this tool saved me the trip to the mechanic and its costs. I highly recommend the tool.
