Less than it seems.
Much smaller than it looks. For reference, our dog only weighs 14 pounds. If she rides in front we put a dog bed under her to add some height. If she rides in the back, we put her in the middle seat when she's down. We also placed a dog bed in it as it wasn't comfortable at all. I wish she had a little more room to stretch out and turn around.
