I love how this shelf looks in my bathroom as it allows us to store our electric toothbrushes and hide our cords. Installation was easy and the shelf seems pretty solid, but I had to deduct a star for a number of reasons. Cable management could be significantly better. I had to attach the cables to the inside of the shelf because the lid just lay on top and didn't slide into a notch or anything like that, so the cables kept lifting the lid. The photo in the description is misleading and implies that the lid slides horizontally, but it doesn't, it just sits on top without latching in any way. This is by far my biggest complaint. 2.) The product is poorly designed. There are traces of production on the "upper" part of the shelf, but none on the lower part. With all our stuff on it it's hard to tell but when the shelf is empty it looks pretty cheap. Likewise, there is no indication that you "attached" the mounting piece to the shelf. It would be nice if the shelf clicked into place, or something to indicate it was locked and secure.
