The hair has a slight odor. I just let my hair air out 2 days before use. It doesn't smell like that anymore. The hair is exactly like in the picture. I only used 5 packs because I don't like long hair. I've only been using it for 2 days but I love it! Edit: After 2 weeks the upper was puckering a lot. I just replaced 2 lines to make them look newer.
