I Love Tripp Lite - Power Strips & Surge Protectors

*UPDATED: Read more below* Good: I've had mine for almost two years now. I haven't experienced any blackouts or lightning, but I've had a few blackouts. So far I haven't had any problems with that. Anyway, I use it for my computer, TV and other pretty expensive electronics. It puts my mind at rest, but I really don't know how good this thing is technically. I really appreciate the 25ft cord rather than having to use a separate extension cord which is not recommended for use with a regular extension cord. Bad: I don't know how it happened, but two sockets (the black part) cracked. I have never dropped it or dropped anything on it. Also, some of the sockets have become very weak, so if you plug something in, the slightest movement will pop the plugs out, which is very annoying. I've never handled it roughly either. I just plug in my electronics and they just sit there. Overall I'm still happy with it and think it was a good purchase. The metal body is nice but I wish they would reinforce the real frames so they don't break and wear out as easily. *UPDATE* After I've written my review, a Tripp Lite rep can check for themselves). I was a bit skeptical but I called them and just described the condition of my product and the guy immediately asked for a replacement to be shipped to my home. I was told that this particular model is covered by a lifetime warranty. This level of customer service is rare these days. They not only tracked me down, they honored the warranty with no issues. The phone call lasted literally 5 minutes. I am a lifetime customer of Tripp Lite.
