This shoe fits true to size and is of good quality on the outside whilst the inside comfort is comparable to many other basic deck/boat shoes that have been used before. The material is definitely not the soft leather of some of the leading boat shoe manufacturers and tends to get a bit warm after prolonged wear. The grip is adequate for general use and I didn't notice the squeaking that is quite common with this type of shoe. The longevity of the outer material is hard to gauge as it doesn't look like it will last as long as some of the other pairs that have been used in the past. Overall it's a good shoe and visually appealing, but at this price point it might be worth spending a little more to get one of the top brands in the category.
