Review on VeLLBox HDMI Extender, Cat5e/6/7 Cable, 30m Range, 1080p Resolution Support, Universal Power Adapter, Grey by Ryan Vaughn

I originally bought this product because it offered an HDMI extension with two Cat5e cables and longer reach. The previous owner of our home used similar equipment (from a different manufacturer) to extend his HDMI from the AV cabinet, but brought extension cords with him. As it was one of the few devices that used dual Cat5e, offered longer range and had an active receiver, I thought I had found the perfect solution. The first device worked flawlessly for three days before the receiver stopped receiving signals. Signal. The LED went off and neither power cycling nor disconnecting and reconnecting fixed the issue. Revain sent a replacement, I installed it and it worked for 10 days. After it lost the signal the first time, I cycled it and reconnected it. After that it worked for another 2 days before the signal disappeared and never recovered. When switching off and on, the LED blinked once and the device switched itself off again. I sent the second unit back for a refund. I really wanted to like this product because of the features, range and price, but after two failed devices in a row I would advise others to stay away.
