We looked at many glass containers before purchasing this container for our alkaline water. We have an alkaline water maker and wanted a large water container for our kitchen that was attractive, efficient, and big enough to hold at least 2 gallons of water. This dispenser met all of our expectations. The stand that comes with it is a bonus too. I like that I can easily fill most glasses/cups without having to maneuver the device. Assembling the faucet was a bit fiddly as the instructions were not very intuitive, but using common sense we were able to install the faucet within reason. Time limit. Unfortunately the lid didn't fit properly as the rubber rim on the suction cup was a bit too big for the dispenser. We could use it to create a snug fit, but it was crooked. The good news is that we contacted the seller and the company immediately sent us a new case. Voila - it's perfect and we couldn't be happier! We recommend this dispenser to anyone looking for a beautiful and efficient glass dispenser.
