Ok (in the first photo a sticky strip isn't sticking, the rest is half the tub) so maybe my toilet is just made up but it's lost its stickiness and came off on the bottom half. However, it works on the toilet in my half bath. Also, make sure you clean the area well before applying, which should help with better adhesion. I really needed them to work because my 1.5 year old grandson goes straight to the toilet! Those of you who have been there know what I am talking about. But anyway as long as it stays in the other toilet but remember if you want to sit on the toilet after it opens (in the middle of the night) it's not a boogie man trying to kick your ass step! Lol yes it scared me the first time because I forgot the lock since my grandson went home and I just left it unlocked. However, I haven't tried them on cupboards (they have different locks) or anything other than toilets so can't speak to them, but I think they'll work fine. I'll try removing the broken one and putting in a new one and see if it works. If that's the case I'll come back and update my review because as I said (and you can see it in the video) it actually worked in my half bath and the toilets are actually made the way they are now when I do that look...TBC and happy shopping
