Immediate Pain Relief

I was having a sharp, intense muscle pain that radiated below the shoulder blade to the right side of my chest โ€” the kind of pain that gets in your way and forces you to do simple things like lie in bed, very severe event. A few days of super strength Tylenol didn't help the pain. So I crossed my fingers and ordered this bandage. When it arrived, I ripped open the bag, put it on and immediately felt relieved. Within the first hour, my overall pain was cut in half. But even half the pain was still very uncomfortable, so I held the brace fairly tight for the next 14 hours. During this time, the compression reduced the remaining pain by half. Then, to make it more comfortable, I loosened it to supportive but not compressive, and it works fine. What was originally intense, debilitating pain has now become slightly sore and slightly uncomfortable. Now that I have a brace I will have no problem babysitting that muscle and giving it time to heal. Also, I read that leafy greens reduce inflammation and that sleeping with your chest up helps, so I ate salads. and spent a night in bed since I got braces. I wear a bandage all the time. Whether it was compression alone or a combination of it plus anti-inflammatory veggies and more sleep, I didn't have to use any pain medication at all and was doing very well in just 24 hours. This would not have happened without this compression bandage. If you are in pain, I wish you the same great results!
