They give you a battery powered pump without the ability to use electricity or anything. So you'll need at least $20-$25 Type-D batteries to get started. So add that to the price and you'll see that you're only a few bucks away from a bed with a built in pump and worth it without batteries. Alternatively, you can purchase an electric pump separately for $12. 20 or maybe less which I will do later today. Drive 30 minutes to Walmart and buy an electric pump when I could get a bed there and save myself a lot of trouble. I slept unmade on the bed last night and I think it will be wonderfully comfortable. But it's not worth the trouble. I would return it, but I've come this far.
