Our homeless loves it!

Like many other buyers, I bought this house to protect our stray cat from the rain and cold this winter. She didn't start using it right away so I almost returned it. I was impressed with the design of the house and how easy it was to assemble. The front and rear entrance doors are detachable, which is very convenient. I see one or both dampers being removed as the weather warms up. Another useful feature is the self-regulating heating element in the bed. This saves a lot of energy and prevents the bed from catching fire. Based on other feedback, we've made some changes to prevent the house from becoming waterlogged. At the same time, we did not notice that the house gets wet when it rains. This home is perfect with a few modifications. Cover the house with plastic - we used a black garbage bag to protect the house from rain. We attached the bag to the roof of the house with clothespins.2. Raise the Brick House - To keep the floor from getting wet, we used Home Depot gray blocks to raise the house a few inches off the ground. Use a heavy-duty extension cord (12 gauge) if you don't have an outlet nearby - the included cord isn't that long.
